New Sermon Series for the New Year
When Christians Get it Wrong One author has noted of today's young adults, "They like Jesus, they're just not fond of his followers." People have serious questions about Christianity and the Christians they have known. In this series of messages, we will hear from some who will describe their frustrations and their earnest questions about the Christian faith. Then, each week Pastor John will offer thoughtful answers aimed at addressing these questions and helping those who feel that we as Christians do not represent Christ.
Pictorial Directory
New pictorial directory for Trinity. Olan Mills will be here on February 11, 12, & 13th photographing. Each family photographed gets a free 8 X 10 photo and church directory. We are looking to photograph as many families as possible. Look for sign up opportunities in coming weeks. If you have neighbors or friends that would like a family photograph, invite them to come. If they are not associated with the church, their picture will not be in the directory, but they are still able to have their picture taken. If we have over 100 families photographed, then Olan Mills will donate $2 per family back to the church.
Missions
OUR JANUARY COMMUNION RAIL OFFERING will be for the Methodist Mission Home in San Antonio, TX. We are challenging the church to raise $500. If that goal is met, the Missions Committee will match the $500 gift for a total of $1,000 that we can send to support this life changing ministry. The home doesn't receive apportionment money and would greatly benefit from your gift. We will celebrate Holy Communion on January 3rd. We would like to commend the congregation for their response to the military family that was in need. Their house burned prior to the holidays. They have a two year old son. Thank you for your generosity at Christmas!

Cross & Flame Jewelry
It has come to our attention that several people in the congregation have been asking about the Methodist Cross and Flame Jewelry. We found a place that will take our orders, plus give back to the church. Jewelry comes in gold and silver. There are samples in the church office. Please come by and take a look. If you are interested, you can order in the church office.
