Mother's Day Out

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Trinity United Methodist Church is a community of Christians growing in faith together whose doors are open to everyone seeking the blessings of Jesus Christ. We provide the opportunity for all to use their faith and talents in service to God's people. Mother's Day Out, as a ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church, is called by Jesus to "Let the little children come to me". Our purpose is to provide appropriate play experiences in a Christian environment where all children can develop their individual and unique selves. We intend to provide a positive, flexible, creative and meaningful place for each child.

We follow the A Beka Book Christian Curriculum. This curriculum guide has been devised by professional Christian teachers and administrators. The A Beka Book Curriculum is based on sound scholarship, common sense and the Word of God. Character training is one of the supreme goals in Christian education. God says, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). Children must be faithfully trained, line upon line, precept upon precept, day after day after day. Train means to discipline, to teach and form by practice. The Christian approach to education and life are woven throughout this curriculum and ensures students will be taught material that is on grade level and can progress steadily from year to year.

We encourage you to look into our busy, happy, noisy, creative classrooms to see your child at play. We hope to offer, through our interest and concern, support to you as parents of young children. We have an "open door" policy and encourage questions, ideas and concerns.
